Nick Steen's grandfather and father both owned a SERVPRO franchise, so Nick has grown up around the restoration industry. He and his wife have 3 children and have a passion for church, family and the community. His IICRC certifications include: WRT-Water Remediation Technician, ASD-Applied Structural Drying, SRT-Fire & Smoke Restoration, AMRT- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, UFC-Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, CCT-Carpet Cleaning Technician. Owner

Lorelei Steen and her husband Nick have been SERVPRO owners since 2007. They have a genuine passion for SERVPRO and helping people. SERVPRO is the vehicle that allows them to help both commercial and residential customers recover from property damage emergencies. When they are not working, they spend time with their 3 children and 2 dogs enjoying the great outdoors or snuggling up for a good movie. She is IICRC certified in WRT-Water Remediation Technician. Operation Manager

Sabrina Crump has been a part of our SERVPRO team since November 2010. Over the years, she has acquired extensive experience and training in the restoration industry. Her IICRC certifications include: WRT-Water Remediation Technician, ASD-Applied Structural Drying, SRT-Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, AMRT-Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, OCT- Odor Control Technician, HST- Health & Safety Technician. Other certifications include: Lead Renovator, Crime Scene Bio Recovery Technician and Subrogation training. 

Jesse

Contents Project Manager

Jesse Guel has been with SERVPRO for the past 5 years and he comes to us from the San Francisco/ Bay Area where he is originally from. He manages our pack out, contents cleaning and structure cleaning crews. Jesse has a strong background in the moving industry and has at least 20 years of experience in that field. Additionally, Jesse was also a Project Manager in the construction/design industry for 7 years. He is a father of 8 and is a huge Green Bay Packers fan and Volkswagen Enthusiast. Jesse and his team are 100% dedicated to building a reputation for being the premier contents restoration company on the west coast, always striving for excellence, never cutting corners and always keeping the customers best interest in mind. His IICRC certifications include: WRT-Water Remediation Technician, SRT-Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician. Other certifications include: Lead Renovator

Jon

Contents Project Manager

Jon joined the SERVPRO Family in 2016. He has significant experience in both the restoration and construction industries. Jon has a strong emphasis in making the customer’s needs his highest priority. 

Kellie

Assistant Project Manager

Kellie Estrada has been a member of our SERVPRO team since 2010. She is an integral part of our operations here! She assists our Contents Project Managers throughout the entire job process, from building initial estimates to final billing.

Kellie spent her first 7 years at SERVPRO as the Project Manager for the fire damage restoration crew, and has worked as the Estimator/ Auditor for both the Fire and Water Restoration Departments for the past 3 years.

Prior to working with SERVPRO in the restoration industry, Kellie had a career in cosmetology. While she was born in Newport Beach, California, Kellie has spent the majority of her life in the Portland area. She and her husband have 3 children and they enjoy camping, horseback riding, dirt bikes, fishing, boating and spending time together as a family.

Kellie is an IICRC certified technician in Fire & Smoke, as well as Odor.

LaDonna

Contents and Textiles Crew Chief

LaDonna has been a valuable SERVPRO team member for three years and does amazing work supervising our contents and textiles departments. As a Contents and Textiles Crew Chief, LaDonna oversees current employees and trains new SERVPRO employees in that department to adhere to the proper procedure for personal property contents and textile restoration. After contents and textiles are cleaned and restored to pre-loss condition, LaDonna oversees the repacking and storage process of the contents into secure vaults in our warehouse. She works closely with our Fire and Contents Project Managers as well as our Warehouse Manager to ensure that each customer’s contents are clean and stored with care.

LaDonna is a dedicated employee who contributes greatly to our company, even traveling twice with our Storm Response team to California to assist with the wildfire damage restoration efforts. When she isn’t dedicating much of her time to our company, she’s spending time with family. We’re lucky to have such an experienced and passionate team member part of our SERVPRO family!

Fire Production Technician

Mayra Beccera has been with SERVPRO since 2014. Mayra is an invaluable member of our team.

Josh

Water Restoration Project Manager

Josh Laulile has been part of the SERVPRO crew since May of 2015. As a Water Restoration Project Manager, Josh is often one of the first to respond to a water loss job to put eyes on the problem to come up with a proper dry plan. He and his water team are often the bridge of communication between the client and insurance company, and they do a great job keeping all parties informed.

Prior to his work in the restoration industry, Josh worked in the construction field. He is originally from the Los Angeles area where he was born and raised, and he moved to the Portland area in 2013. Josh is the father of 2 daughters. He loves to work hard and play even harder, as he is an avid snowboarder.

His IICRC certifications include: WRT (Water Remediation Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), SRT (Fire & Smoke Restoration), OCT (Odor Control Technician) & CDS (Commercial Drying Specialist). Other certifications include: Lead Renovator.

Jeremy

Assistant Project Manager

Jeremy has been with SERVPRO since spring of 2019. As an assistant project manager for our water restoration team, Jeremy helps to oversee all the water mitigation, mold remediation, and bio-hazard cleanup jobs. He works directly with SERVPRO’s  Water Project Manager, Josh, to accomplish this.

Jeremy came to SERVPRO with 17 years experience working in the construction industry, 10 of which were focused specifically in the restoration industry.

When Jeremy isn’t performing excellent work for SERVPRO, you can find him with his family out enjoying the beautiful weather. Together, they enjoy spending time hiking, camping, and fishing. Jeremy is also involved in helping his two daughters’ sports teams, soccer and basketball, in his free time.

Gabe

Crew Chief/ Water Tech

Gabriel Ornelas has been with our franchise since 2016. He was originally hired as a water tech, but has proven himself to be a very valuable asset to us and he was promoted to the position of crew chief within 8 months of starting with us. Gabe is responsible for directing our water damage crews and keeping the job on schedule. He is the liaison between the onsite crew and our Project Managers. Gabe is an IICRC certified water damage restoration technician. He is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and he has lived in the Portland area for the last 3 years. On his days off, Gabe enjoys making music and spending time with his wife and two children. It is apparent that Gabe truly loves what he does. His positive attitude and work ethic always adds a big boost to morale and productivity and he is well liked by customers and coworkers alike.  

Val

Warehouse Manager

Valorie Nowling has been with SERVPRO since 2003. She has served as Fire Manager during her time with SERVPRO and has certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Fire and Smoke Restoration.

Race

Priority Response Manager

Race Schwarzbach started with our company at the beginning of 2017 as our Priority response assistant. After undergoing extensive training and proving himself in the field, he was promoted to the management position at the start of 2018. Race is often the first to respond and the first point of contact after a fire emergency. He is a native Oregonian and was born and raised in The Dalles, Oregon. Prior to his work in restoration, Race worked in the insurance industry for 5 years. He was also a logistics officer in the Air Force for 6 years. Race enjoys disk golf, baseball and weight training, as well as coaching team sports. His experience in team sports has played well into his professional life. Race has a passion for helping people get their lives back together, making him a perfect fit for his position with us.

Martin

Priority Response

Martin Schwarzbach joined our franchise at the beginning of 2018 and has quickly become key player on our Priority response team. Martin is the first to respond to a fire or water emergency. He is responsible for residential and commercial board ups and often acts as the first point of contact between the customer and our project managers. Martin works with our clients and their insurance company to establish the initial claim. He grew up in Mosier, Oregon and has raised 6 children. Martin’s work as an agent in the insurance industry has given him an edge in our industry. He has also worked extensively as an aviation technician and holds an applied science degree in aviation maintenance from Portland Community College. Martin is an IICRC certified fire restoration technician. When he is not working with us, Martin enjoys traveling with his wife Julie as well as hiking, camping and all things water related. He is an advocate for the customer and enjoys helping people in crisis put their lives back together.

Mason

Assistant Priority Response

Mason Bansch started with our priority response team in the summer of 2018. He assists the team with emergency board up and helps with customer follow up as well as communication between the department, management and the insurance company. In addition to his position with the PR department, Mason also assists the marketing team as needed. Mason grew up in The Dalles, Oregon before relocating to the Portland area in 2014. Prior to his work in the restoration industry, he was in retail sales management. Mason is an AWS certified welder. On his off time, Mason enjoys hunting and camping as well as disk golf and baseball. He is a auto enthusiast who enjoys racing and working on cars. Helping people in their time of need is very important to Mason, making him a perfect fit for the priority response department.

Matana

Sales & Marketing Representative

Marketing Support Coordinator

Matana McIntire is one of our Sales and Marketing Representative, as well as a Marketing Support Coordinator here at SERVPRO of Northwest Portland. She is responsible for account management and route sales. She also assists the sales team by managing our web, social media, and community presence.  Prior to coming to work with us, Matana was in retail sales management. She also has experience in graphic design and journalism. Matana is a native Oregonian who was born in Gresham and has resided in the Portland metro area her entire life. She attended Mt Hood College, where she earned her associates degree in Art. When Matana is not running sales routes for us, she enjoys getting out with friends and checking out the local comedy scene. She is an avid reader and creative who generally has several projects going at any given time. Matana’s positive attitude is infectious and we are very happy to welcome her into the SERVPRO family.

Armando

Sales & Marketing Representative

Armando Garcia- Vanderpool started with our franchise in 2013 as a water technician and was quickly promoted as one of our Water Crew Chiefs. Armando has certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC): Water Damage. In April of 2019, Armando became a part of our marketing deparpartment as a Sales and Marketing Representative.

Valerie Amezcua-Sotelo has been with SERVPRO since 2017. Valerie is an invaluable member of our team.

Alysha

Job File Coordinator

Alysha joined our SERVPRO family in the fall of 2019 as a Job File Coordinator (JFC). As a JFC, Alysha works closely with our Project Managers to verify that all details pertaining to new and ongoing jobs are accounted for and correct. She is also responsible for communicating with insurance adjusters when necessary, as well as issuing invoices for completed work.

In her free time, Alysha enjoys creating fine art, with a focus on pottery. She’s passionate about creating art, drinking coffee, and hanging out with her pet cat Beans. She’s happy to rep the SERVPRO orange and green, and SERVPRO is lucky to have her on our team.
